PCRV has finished recording the full length for Xerxes. It has been sent off to Blake Edwards of Vertonen to be mastered and then off to Yasutoshi for release. Right now the working title is Two Dot, another Montana-themed album. If you were all wondering Two Dot is a town in Montana but more specifically Two Dot was the ranch my father grew up on outside of Cody, Wy. So the title has a very close association with PCRV. Should be out before summer 2006. More info later.
PCRV is happy to annouce that he'll be moving to Oakland California. As of April
1st, PCRV will no longer call montana his home. As of March 1st PCRV shut down
operations to focus on the move. He'll still be taking emails so feel free to
send him a message if need be. Thank you to all who has supported PCRV in Montana
and to all who have played in this fine state with him.
Out Now! PCRV-Day/Night 3" cdr is out now on Misanthrope Studio. Its a documentation
of two shows played in Seattle, WA on the day of June 12th 2005.
Out Now! PCRV-Big Sky CD from Crippled Intellect Productions. Twelve Tracks of
Montana-tinged noise. Ready to make your ears happy and go Yea'ha!
Audiobot will be releasing a split cdr between PCRV and Pope Joanna. A tasty slab
of christian-influenced harsh noise you can pray to. Should be out very soon,
Audiobot is in the design stages as we speak. More later.
UTD has received PCRV-Let Rest Your Fragile Thoughts, which should be released
within the coming month of Febuary. UTD is the new label run by Guilty Connector's
Dr. Kohei. Kelly Churko will be mastering this release. So it will sound oh so
good.
DFRP out of Portland, Or will be releasing a 2xcdr of PCRV sometime in 2006. Right
now its in the hands of Stimbox being mastered for release. I believe this will
be professionally pressed so it will have a great look to it and have those great
sounds fans of PCRV have grown to love. More synth based harsh drone noise.
Black Arts out of Finland will be releasing a cassette for PCRV. At this time
no material has been recorded but will start the recording process right after
the Xerxes and UTD releases are finished. I beleive it will be a C-40. more info
as we draw nearer to that release.
Also, Matt Taggart, the man behind PCRV, will step out from behind the name and
be doing a split cdr release with Michael Barthel (Recordings For The Summer label
boss and man behind Nautilus Deconstruction) which will be released by Scrotum
Records. Each artist has sent each other source material to be reworked into something
great. Taggart's side has been recorded and sent off to Michael.
Also, I've been meaning to put this up and haven't until now. alOne Production
has released a reworking of PCRV's Public Display of Affection cdr which was released
on Harshnoise out of San Francisco. He does an amazing job with it. Please contact
them thru the links page to find out more about this release.
